Michael Weinstein graduated from State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He was trained in general surgery at Albert Einstein School of Medicine and at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. He trained in colorectal surgery at Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, New Jersey.

Dr. Weinstein and his wife, Mimi, live in Scarsdale and have two children. Bill is a veterinary student and Stephanie is a radiology resident.
